Dick Shoulberg is one of the most renowned coaches in the world of aquatics.
He coaches national champions, world champions and Olympians. Yet Shoulberg also coaches young children at the Germantown Academy in Pennsylvania. A man of the highest integrity and compassion for his swimmers and students, he is beloved and respected like few in his profession.

A Coach of International Acclaim
Coach Shoulberg has represented the United States as a coach in 16 international competitions including the World Swimming Championships, the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships, the Pan American Games and the Olympic Games.
Day in and day out, Coach Shoulberg is on the pool deck and classrooms guiding America’s young swimmers to realize their potential and achieve their dreams.
Shoulberg has been honored by his peers as the American Swim Coach of the Year in 1982 and 1989. He has developed eleven Olympians over his career in a pool that is actually undersized for the great athletes who have trained there.
He has also coached over 300 All-American swimmers and dozens of national champions while building an unprecedented dynasty at the Germantown Academy.
