Sid Cassidy takes you through an insightful recollection of memories of swimmers - from world and Olympic champion John Kinsella to the astonishing finishes at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

At the shorelines and finish lines of many of the greatest open water happenings from the 1970s to the present, Sid paints a beautiful picture of the sport of open water swimming.

He was there at the famous 24-hour relays in Quebec, Canada.

He was there in Beijing at the Olympic 10K Marathon Swim finish as the world’s fastest athletes came barreling down to the finish.

A long-time proponent of the sport, his passion for the sport knows no boundaries.  He was recently honored with the highest award given by USA Swimming and was inducted into the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame.

Sid will enthrall listeners with his descriptions of great swims and great swimmers in history - and he will explain his next big venture on the high seas.

Finally, he tells of open water swimming’s future – a vision so grandiose, a prediction so visionary, a future so rosy – that it is sure to motivate and inspire those who listen.
